Tapi ternyata saat saya mau urus online ada service fee yang harganya USD 96-hour atau 30 days sama aja. Ditambah tax di akhir, harga visanya jadi sekitar USD 70. Kalo bayar pake Citibank MasterCard, bisa-bisa kena Rp karena kursnya yang totally ridiculous. Karena itu, saya pilih apply lewat VFS Global. Harga online visa UAE Dubai melalui Manage My Booking di Dokumen yang Diperlukan Awalnya sama email ke VFS nanya-nanyain tentang visa UAE. Ternyata sama orang sananya langsung dikasih banyak attachment yang berisi dokumen apa aja yang dibutuhin, harga visa, dan formulir aplikasi. Berdasarkan attachment tersebut, berikut dokumen yang diperlukan buat apply visa UAE melalui VFS Global. 1. Mengisi formulir aplikasi per orang dengan lengkap serta menandatanganinya. —> formulir bisa didownload di sini 2. Foto berwarna, jelas, ukuran 4x6 sebanyak 1 lembar dengan latar belakang putih 3. Fotocopy halaman depan biopage dan halaman terakhir address paspor, fotocopy harus jelas 4. Copy konfirmasi tiket pulang pergi dari Emirates Airlines tiket sudah harus di-issued —> INI BOLEH ONE-WAY 5. Minimum 2 nama atau lebih di paspor bukan satu nama, contoh Hendra 6. Pengumpulan Dokumen Tanggal 15 Desember saya berangkat menuju VFS Dubai yang terletak di Kuningan City. VFS Dubai sendiri baru buka jam 9, tapi saya perlu ke Bank BCA dulu karena belom transfer untuk pembayaran visa. Untungnya di ITC Kuningan ada Bank BCA yang buka jam jadi dari ITC saya tinggal jalan kaki ke Kuningan City. Setelah membayar Rp ditambah Rp karena perlu memberikan berita di kertas bukti transfer tapi dikasih diskon Rp 50 perak haha, saya keluar dari BCA dan jalan ke Kuningan City. Ternyata VFS di Kuningan City ini memfasilitasi banyak kedutaan. Di lantai 1 ada Norwegia, Denmark, dan sebagainya. Sementara di lantai 2 ada UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, dan Dubai. Berhubung masih jam bagian Dubai belom buka jadi saya belom boleh masuk. Foto seadanya VFS Global di Kuningan City Setelah jam saya coba lagi dan udah boleh masuk. Berbeda dengan UK dan Australia yang perlu masuk lagi ke dalem, Dubai ini kecil banget ruangannya. Bahkan bukan ruangan, melainkan lebih mirip meja resepsionis. Mbak petugasnya juga baru selesai beberes, tapi langsung senyum dan persilakan saya untuk duduk. Saya langsung kasih semua berkas yang dibutuhkan, dan dia ngecek semuanya. Selesai mengecek berkas, Mbak tersebut bilang, "kamu masih pelajar ya. Surat orang tuanya ada nggak?" Deg! Males banget kalo harus balik kesini lagi. Saya pun bilang "emang butuh ya Mbak? Di daftar dokumen yang harus dilengkapi kan nggak ada tulisannya. Saya ikutin yang di sana aja. Bukti saya masih mahasiswa udah saya lampirin juga dengan surat keterangan kampus". Kemudian Mbaknya menjawab, "Iya ya. Yaudah nanti saya masukin dulu aja dokumen kamu. Kalo ternyata diminta surat orang tua dari pihak Imigrasi UAE di Dubai kamu kirim scan-nya ada ke email kami." Setelah semua beres, saya diberikan bukti berupa secarik kertas seperti struk belanja di supermarket. Di kertas tersebut ada reference number yang bisa digunakan untuk melacak sudah sampai mana proses aplikasi visa. Mbaknya bilang kalau visa biasanya diproses selama 3-5 hari kerja. Kebanyakan sih granted, kecuali ada alasan tertentu dari imigrasi UAE yang membuat visa ditolak dan Mbaknya juga kurang tau. Oh ya, sama seperti visa Australia, pengurusan visa UAE Dubai ini langsung dibalikin paspornya karena visanya nanti bukan dalam bentuk stiker yang ditempel ke paspor melainkan secarik kertas yang perlu diprint. Karena saat pesawat landing, kalian bakal dijemput sama petugasnya. Beuh kayak orang penting aja kan?? 5. Transportasi dari dan ke hotel udah disediain, tinggal ngikut aja.
